WD Live player

Beebee spent half hour trying to load a movie from an external hard drive onto our WD live media player. For some reason, this movie would not show up on the media player even though the file is in fact in the external hard drive and readable on the computer. So of course, with the spirit of finding out the root cause of the problem and not giving up... He spends half hour unplugging the power cord and reset the media player to factory setting, even deleted the file and transferred again to the hard drive... Everything you name it, he tried.

In the end, he wonders to himself out loud, "I wonder if this is a rmvb file because that wound be a fail".

Uh huh. Yes it was. He knew rmvbs don't work!! I guess he just forgot during that half hour period....

Clumsy iPhone day

Today, my beloved fiancĂ©e arranged for a meeting in downtown library to sell a retired iPhone 4. In the event of "no parking" because he didn't want to pay the meter, he managed to drag a family member to drive him downtown as he had forgotten Sundays are free parking. All is good up until the minute he drops the phone because he held the box by lid (the bottom fell) and phone screen is cracked.
There we have a buyer waiting to buy a good condition iPhone, he decides to switch a good iPhone (from a family member) for this sale and retain the cracked phone for family use. Of course, this second iPhone had to be reset for security purposes... who knew it would take so long that the library closed on them.
My true love and family finally got home 2 hours later. Either iPhone is to blame for being such cheap quality and slow manufacture reset or it's the user. The phone was sold for the original agreed price but Bee gave up 55% of the sale to the owner of the now cracked phone.

Sad times. Clumsy Bee.

Faux

Bee: "....blanket with faux micro-mink on one side and faux lambswool on the other side.... Oh~ this may be nice for winter!!"

Me: "but it's all fake mink and wool, blaah"

Bee: "oh that's what faux mean?"

Me: "......."

Point of Interest fail by beeeee

In Guild Wars, this bee led us to seek the remaining Point of Interest on an island somewhere, we spent 10 minutes turning in circles and I kept asking, what are we doing!

He then realized, he was on the WRONG island.

Lotion on a Winter Day

Beebee and I were heading outside during a super cold winter day. Mama Bear came by with a cut up container which had some type of gel inside it. She offered it to Beebee and Beebee asked, what is it. She answered, it's a lotion. Not knowing any better, Beebee applied it directly to his face and felt a tingly sensation. I didn't pay much attention until I saw Beebee's circling motion on his cheeks.

Tingly. Oh gee, I wonder what type of gel it was.

Antibacterial gel, silly Bee.

Ignition - on!

Today Beebee was backing out of the drive way. Once we reached the end of the drive way, he paused. He was unusually slow today... The car stopped moving.
I turned to look at Beebee and found a puzzled look on his face.
Beebee, did you start the car?

Sunset on the east coast?

Beebee and I planned on watching the sunset at our resort in Riviera Maya.
We were so excited and headed to the beach just 15 minutes shy of sunset time.
We walked quickly towards the beach coast and looked upwards. . .

"beebee, where is the sun?!"

"...I don't know"

"wait a minute, are we on the east coast or west coast?"

"... east"

Sigh.
In the end, this is the sunset we were able to capture on camera...

Dress shirt is too tight

Beebee couldn't do the signature hand sign from Friends today at his will.
He explained that his shirt was a little too tight.
I asked, why not buy bigger sizes in the future?
He said,
The sleeves would be too long then.

Short arm beebee =p my favorite.

Co-op

From MEC to Co-op.

On our way to MEC for some sport gears, Beebee headed towards the local grocery store "Co-op". Soon he realized he made a mistake and tried to pretend he took the wrong turn. We parked 1 block away from Co-op and re-routed to the real Mountain Equipment Co-op shortly after.

Hehe, he is a cute one.

pot pot pot hole

Vroom vroom~
Today humble bee spotted an abnormally large pothole on the road. In order to avoid it, he swerved to the right. He then realized the pothole was to the right of the car. It was a fail in faulty reaction.

Eepi or Epi

Geek: I like the "eh-pee" (Epi) leather pattern from LV.
Bee: it's not "eh-pee", it's "eepee"
Geek: "no, the sales lady pronounced it "eh-pee"
Bee: well, is EPIC pronounced "eepeik" or "ehpik"?
Geek and Bee: ... *silence*
Bee: *picks up a glass, takes a sip, looks away, and blushes*

I think it's fair to call this an epic fail.

Humble Bee: Mmm... purple....

Broccoli?

At our local grocery store,
Background info ~ Bee's likable vegetable includes asparagus and others. Bee does not like broccoli or cauliflower.

Bee: "we're getting broccoli?" *puzzled look as he picks up a bunch of asparagus*
Geek: "hm?" *sees a bag of asparagus and looks away*
Geek: "Yes, your favorite vegetable is definitely broccoli".

Where's my murse

Dude, where's my car?

Today, Humble Bee was walking down the street. His right hand was busy holding a Pikachu's hand and his left was empty. He said, Oh no, where is my murse?

Pikachu didn't answer - looks at Humble's shoulder with very visible shoulder-side strap of the murse... *Ahem*

Sushi Mooo

Sushi motto restaurant has got to be the restaurant with the slowest dinner service.
I'm not a chef but I am sure it does not take one hour to present 8 slices of salmon on a plate.

Bee made a mini-fail as well today. We arrived at the restaurant half an hour before our reservation time. He even rushed us too.

24 out of 25 Ain't Bad

Today, SS did an online quiz to get 100% on it. She scored 95% 96% (fail blog Bee can't do math) with 24 out of 25 correct.

Frustrated, she spent the next hour taking notes, applying process of elimination and asked Bee to check all the answers she suspected to be wrong.

So Bee did. And told her the wrong answer was none of the suspected wrong. It was one of the "right" answers she thought was correct.

Watermelon conversations

Bee was waiting on the phone for a customer service representative to become available. I have cut up some very delicious watermelon to eat after our dinner. Bee was chewing happily on a watery piece until .... "Thank you for calling XXX, my name is XXXX, who am I speaking to?" came from the other side of the phone. Without thinking, Bee let out the most awkward sound to answer the CSR, still with food in his mouth. =p I could not help but laugh, for the next ten minutes, I was laughing on the ground, LOL.

Curbed out

Finding a parking spot near our restaurant was not hard, but I guess parking within the maximum curb distance was more difficult =p

Words for thought,
If the passenger cannot step onto the sidewalk instead of asphalt... the car is usually considered too far from the curb, hehe

To Train or Bus

Bee was walking towards the train after leaving work, this is his usual routine from Mon-Fri. However, today he didn't take the train to work this morning. He parked his car at Park & Ride this morning, and took the bus to work. A bus drove by him on his way to the LRT station in downtown, he quickly realized his fail and ran for the bus. Oh too bad, it left before he reached the doors.
Run, Bee, Run!

I bet he missed both the bus and the train.

Shake that thing

Having pasta for dinner tonight at a nearby restaurant.
Server: Would you like some crushed pepper and cheese?
Pol: Yes please.

Server hands Pol two shakers, one for cheese, one for crushed chili pepper.
Pol, someone who has low tolerance for spicy food, starts adding pepper to his pasta *shake shake shake*
I asked, you know that is hot chili pepper?

. . . Pol, it's not ground black pepper okaaaaaaaay? =p

As a result, Pol didn't finish the "spicy" pasta and packed it to go.
