Sure enough, my lights weren't blinking - my ISP must be having server problems. I call up Shaw and the electronic auto message system tells me that the community very close to mine is having server issues, it will be fixed shortly. But, really? It wasn't my neighborhood. I stayed on the line to speak to a representative - to check whether my area is affected. He tells me no my internet should be fine. He asked if the lights were all on and solid, well, NO of course not, which is why I called in the first place (only one orange blinking light). He then asked me the real question, did you turn on your modem?

For the whole time, I thought my modem was on! I never turned it off. As it turns out, all my shuffling resulting from setting up a new desktop may have touched the on/off button of the modem. I felt like an idiot.
>> What's even worse is when I asked him, does my wireless internet work? =_+ [too embarrasing to elaborate, please excuse me]
Almost caught up in fails, geek. Just 2 more. Which you have and will not be posting. :P
