Bee: "....blanket with faux micro-mink on one side and faux lambswool on the other side.... Oh~ this may be nice for winter!!"

Me: "but it's all fake mink and wool, blaah"

Bee: "oh that's what faux mean?"

Me: "......."

Point of Interest fail by beeeee

In Guild Wars, this bee led us to seek the remaining Point of Interest on an island somewhere, we spent 10 minutes turning in circles and I kept asking, what are we doing!

He then realized, he was on the WRONG island.

Gnocchi @ Mercato

We had a nice family dinner at a nice Italian restaurant last month for dad's birthday. 

We ordered a number of different entrées to share since their portions are notoriously large. One of the dishes we ordered was their famous gnocchi recipe and a few other pasta dishes. 

Our server brought a plate of regular spaghetti in tomato sauce to our table along with other dishes. I questioned in my head, that doesn't look like gnocchi... Oh  well, enjoy our dinner.

Beebee grabs some spaghetti and places it into his plate. He starts to eat bites of the pasta...

"Yummy, this gnocchi is good!"

"But.. that is just spaghetti! fettucini"

I guess we will buy regular fettucini for future gnocchi cravings Beebee has..

VIP Status

Beebee found a super good deal on Newegg.ca the other day for a SSD. We had been looking for a hard drive to replace my old one for the last few weeks. It turns out that this was such a good deal we just could not miss out.

Beebee told me to wait until he redeems some points for VIP member status then begin the purchase. I listened and waited.... The more I waited, the more I thought to myself... what is with the VIP member status? I looked it up on their website and Google'ed and Bing'ed. No matter how hard I searched for VIP status I could not find it.

I messaged Beebee on MSN and complained that I could not see the VIP status, why is it taking so long on our account details? He said, just log on and click on Account Details again... Okay.

I waited for another ten minutes.

"Beebee, I still can't find the confirmation of VIP status with Newegg."
"It's NCIX! geez"
"But the hard drive is on Newegg.... why are you on NCIX?"
...
"The hard drive is on Newegg? oops and I wasted 1 cent on PayPal and redeemed all the points."

Today, it is "gaps".
Yes, he meant to say "gasp" when his face acted shocked and surprised.

Lotion on a Winter Day

Beebee and I were heading outside during a super cold winter day. Mama Bear came by with a cut up container which had some type of gel inside it. She offered it to Beebee and Beebee asked, what is it. She answered, it's a lotion. Not knowing any better, Beebee applied it directly to his face and felt a tingly sensation. I didn't pay much attention until I saw Beebee's circling motion on his cheeks. 

Tingly. Oh gee, I wonder what type of gel it was. 

Antibacterial gel, silly Bee. 

Let's (Find) Bowl

Bebe had an United Way event at work the other day and went to Let's Bowl for team bowling.  I was busy with some SAP training when I got a phone call from her.  With all the fancy phones, maps and GPS nowaday, Bebe and her team still managed to get lost and couldn't find Let's Bowl.  

Showered Twice in a day

The other night, Bebe had symptoms of a cold, so she ate a Nightquil before bed.  


Sometime later, she woke up in sweat and took a shower before heading to work.  However, Bebe was really tired and wondered why.  Turns out it was only 1:30am, and not 6:30am.  So off to bed again for Bebe Chen.  


A short while later, she woke up in panic thinking it was 9:30am, and quickly showered a second time.  However... it was really only 5:30 am.  Lesson here?  Pikachu caught a cold!
